Description:Prince of the Netherworld,with his old man dead,which is King Krichevskoy,Laharl decides to take the throne and become the Overlord of the Netherworld.Being the demon that he is,Laharl can be considered arrogent,egotistical,spoiled,evil,and short tempered.He does have two weaknesses.He cant stand nor tolerate good or positive things.Such as love,happiness or peace...just the sound of those very words,make him sick to his stomach.Thats not the worse of it,it also seems Laharl has a problem with women who have sexy bodies or mainly with really big breasts.Just the sight of these sexy bodies make Laharl feel weak.Perhaps its just Laharl going through puberty? It's possible.

Description:A loyal vassal to her Overlord,is what some would think.Etna served under the previous Overlord,King Krichevskoy until the point of his death.Which involved him choking on a black pretzel,as the story goes.But only Etna truely knows what happened,in wihch she also holds other secrets in mind.Etna is devious,a trickster,sneaky,tough,rebellious, sarcastic at times,and considered dangerous when you mess with her,letting them know she is the last person they want to mess with.One slight flaw is she is loyal,due to the previous King she cared for dearly.She knows that the King would really be happy if Laharl grew up to be a good Overlord,and that is what Etna will do to help the King.

Description:Born in Celestia,Flonne lives a carefree,happy life,where she is treated with kindness and taught to love others.Currently she is an Angel Trainee and serves under Lord Lamington,he asks Flonne to go the Netherworld to assasinate King Krichevskoy.Once she arrives there,she finds out that the King is dead,but his son is there.Flonne feels very bad that his father is gone,and decides to stick around to support him,Laharl doesn't like the idea of this love-freak sticking around the castle,but it seems she wont leave at all.Determined,honest,ditzy at times,Flonne believes that demons can love as well,with this in mind,she believes Laharl can feel love too.

A.k.a "Mid-Boss"

Description:A demon who calls himself the "Dark Adonis",in which Laharl doesn't care about that title and gives him a new title,which is "Mid-Boss".Disliking that title with must disgust.He battles with Laharl for his bravery of mocking Vyers,but ends up getting his butt kicked and retreats for now,while claiming he is now Laharl's rival.Vyers claims he wants to be the next Overlord,but as you progress through the game,it seems he is testing Laharl if he really can be the next Overlord,for being such a rival he seems concerned about this.Besides being a weak demon that can be easily pushed around,so says Laharl,he is very optimistic,very determined,maybe annoying for how he keeps coming back to challenging Laharl one fight after another.

Prinnies

These peg-legged penquins are considered the lowest demons in the Netherworld,to the point they are treated as slaves by other demons.Prinnies are actually souls of humans in their past life,and were reborn in the Netherworld to pay off the many sins they did in their past life.In order to do so,Prinnies must work in order to pay off their sins,which is by doing chores or just being slaves for other demons.When the time of the Red Moon has come,the Prinnies rejoice and can be finally be free from this torment of having to work so hard to free the sins that hold them down.Death is the one who guides these souls into being reincarnated.According to Flonne,she says there is also Prinnies up in Celestia,but they are treated much differently.
