The story
Disgaea 3 takes place at a demon school called Maritsu Academy.This is not your ordinary school,which is obvious while being in the Netherworld,not to mention the rules themselves are totally the opposite.The main character is Mao,the academy's honor student,and is also a mad scientist.His main goal is to over throw his father,who is an Overlord.After doing much research and analysis,through playing video games and reading manga....he has come to a conclusion that the only way to defeat an Overlord,is to be a hero.Mao can not stand heros or humans,but when he captures Almaz,a self proclaimed hero otaku,Mao is desperate enough to put up with it,just to achieve his ultimate goal.That is..if his rival,Rasberyl,doesn't get in his way from stopping him.
