Broccoli Books decided to release the Disgaea manga in September 2006.The manga art is done by Arashi Shindo,with the cover art done by Takehito Harada.Which of course is obviously the same Harada who does the cover and character designs for Disgaea.The Disgaea 2 manga is scheduled for release for 2007,which again Broccoli Books says they will bring over here:

What are these novels? These are very similiar to the mangas,only the stories to the novels are entirely different,have no connection with one another,and have no connection with the actual plot from Disgaea itself.They could be considered "what ifs..." or side stories that the author thought would be interesting to see planned out,while adding extra characters to add to the World of Disgaea.Each of these novels are illustrated and drawn by various artists as named on their covers or inside the pages.You can find the list of these novels here:

Artbooks_

"Disgaea Character Collection" filled with artwork from the game,covers,illustrations,full character profiles,info and statistics for the main character as well.Along with notes and some tips from the game,it could probably be considered a must have for a Disgaea fan if you love the artwork.

"Disgaea 2 Character collection" pretty much the same as Disgaea 1's artbook.
